Post workout nutrition and Greek Yogurt, the miracle food

There's some explanation of why post workout nutrition is so important from Kyle Byron, Nutritionist.

Also, seems that Greek Yogurt is the new miracle food and a perfect post workout snack. High protein, low cal, and nutrient rich.

Here's a link to a Toronto Star article written back in October.

"Greek Yogurt has about 18 grams of protein per serving, at least double that of regular yogurt. Its thickness also makes it a good substitute for sour cream or as a marinade. Or just eaten with honey and nuts."

Just remember, your workout doesn't stop with the sweat. 80% of your results are dependent on your nutritional habits, especially right after your workout.

  1. A lot of people today are becoming exceedingly health conscious and also are trying to set their weight right. Fitness levels are also becoming a question of concern with a majority of people. They are giving up their sedentary lifestyle and doing everything possible to set things right as far as their fitness is concerned.
